The following sketches were completed during the design process for the project and were used to explain key features.
ART ROOM Situated along 111th street on the second floor, the art rooms feature brightly colored exterior walls and interior partitions of shotblasted concrete block.
DANCE CLASSROOM A view of the first floor dance classroom.
GALLERY The main second floor gallery which will be outfitted with diffuse natural light from above and at the exterior wall.
OVERLOOK A view of the second floor main stair landing and the overlook on Western Avenue.
RECEPTION A view of the reception room, which faces onto the courtyard.
STREET VIEW The view of the new building from the corner of Western and 111th.
AUDITORIUM A view of the main 425-seat auditorium. The stage is large enough to accommodate travelling dance performances.
COURTYARD A view of the courtyard from the west.
