GLENCOE RESIDENCE
GLENCOE, ILLINOIS 2006

Located in Glencoe, this 14 year-old suburban home was remodeled to bring the focus back to the house and away fromt the garage. This was done by adding zinc-coated copper pannels to the garage doors, adjacent walls, and the wall opposite. The entrance was transformed by the addition of large trellis spans and wood-lined entry.

The entrance leads into the gallery, whose original high vaulted ceilings were lowered to the height of the entrance and replaced with a wood ceiling similar to that of the entrance lining.
