PRIVATE RESIDENCE

This project entailed the remodeling to a condominium apartment in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. The major focus of the project was the transformation of a dark labyrinthine maid's quarters into a light filled open kitchen and family room area. Minor work was done to the existing formal rooms of the residence, with the exception of the library which was gutted and rebuilt. Photos by William Kildow. General Contractor was Sylvester Construction. |

Family RoomThe design of the family room was constrained by the existing exterior window locations and plumbing stacks which served the former maids quarters. |
