Formerly a three flat in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, this single family residential rehabilitation is marked by three daylit double height spaces that punctuate the formerly dark interior. The double height space to the rear is a "glass box" addition which features a double sided fireplace that can be seen from outdoors. A central elliptical staircase fits snugly into an existing brick bay. Photos by William Kildow. General Contractor and developer was The Kissner Company. |
